Who are our members?

Further to a comment made elsewhere on the forum, I thought it be interesting to see the split between engaged active politicos and engaged general electorate.

What's a PPC ?

A Pinehurst People's Centre.

No 'Prospective Parliamentary Candidate'.  The general election candidate a party chooses, its their position before the election is called and they become an actual candidate.

Some prefer the term 'Parliamentary Spokesperson' to PPC.

Now there are 13 votes on the poll.

It is possible - likely - that some folks have 2 roles activist+cllr or activist+community etc.  So less than 13 responded whereas 40 people read it.

So we have at least 27 people who should click one of the buttons,  'don't know who I am', 'ashamed of myself' or 'don't want anyone to know anything'

Considering that only 15% party members are activists, it is interesting that no responders are non-activist party members.
I am right 96% of the time. I don't give an aerial intercourse about the other 5%..

Perhaps people consider (quite reasonably) being avtive in political debate is being an activist, so by definition anyone particiapting in debate here is an activist?
Another world is possible!

AFAIK it counts each time somebody reads the thread, not the number of unique views.  Its more likely 13 people (or slightly above ) have looked at it a few times (think personally I have 3-4 times.)

Chris well done why do politicians want to know who is using this board?

Hulloo .. It was me that started this thread ... Simply curious to see how effective the forum has been in attracting non-politically minded or active folks, or whether it is dominated by those in post or political activists .. :)
