Michael Wills: Labour MP for North Swindon



    * Born 20.05.52.
    * Five children.
    * Double First in Modern History, University of Cambridge.
    * Before entering Parliament worked as a TV Producer. Initially worked for LWT, then set up Juniper
       Communications, making economics/current affairs programmes, documentaries and period drama for BBC and
       Channel 4. Former Foreign Office Diplomat.
    * MP for North Swindon since 1997. Minister for Learning and Technology (1999 - 2002). Previous Minister for
       Small Firms.
    * Former policy adviser to Labour’s Treasury Team over VAT on Fuel Campaign and ‘Fat Cats’.
    * His main leisure pursuit is his family.

    * Majority: 2,571 voters — 542nd safest out of 645 MPs

A real basher of a Conservative SBC council for purely political reasons. I find it irksome personally that he wants to do this as the council (since May) seem to be doing the best they can for the people of Swindon (with a few notable "old guard" exceptions).

No opinion of the man really except that he is pro-Coate University. Oh ok, I don't like his stance then.
